On April 2,1745 He sold his rights to Michael Haper of Chester Co. Pa. ... Hans George Haga, owned taxable property in Rowan Co. N.C. as early as 1760. He gave a mortgage, dated July 12 1763 to Henry McCullach Esquire of Turnham Green an Agent of the govenment in the reign of King George III. He sold 200 acres to his son George on April 10,1765 . It was recommended to the General Assembly, Rowan Co, N.C. court house in 1765, That he be exempted from public dies and other services because of his age and poverty.” |
